I got a refurb 16” flex 5i with a i7 1255u and 16gb of ram for 420, it’ll be nice to have a laptop for productivity, didn’t need anything for gaming since I already have a steam deck and a desktop at home, so this fits perfectly
Loved this laptop as well as the review itself! One thing tough, could you recommend something that is more powerful but still has similar specs like price, 360° and good amount of storage suitable for programmers? Would really appreciate any tips! :)

i’m sold, my old laptop just broke and going to uni in sept/oct means i’ll need the drawing function for my anatomy classes and on a part time job that’s not easily doable in my case so this sounds great thank you!

me too! please let me know if someone replies 🙏🏽 i personally am leaning towards lenova bcs i think it comes with a warranty whereas with the HP you’d have to pay and you’d also have to pay for microsoft applications with the hp. i haven’t done all my research yet so take this with a grain of salt !
You were spot on about the hinges, mine are hanging by a thread here. even after buying screws it won't fasten properly...I am ready for an upgraded version like this for my VR and creative multitasking needs can you point me to a better version of this?
3:20 the hinges 'may' feel fragile, but they r not, once the laptop slipped from my hand n hit hard rock floor very badly n bounced, to my surprise nothing happened to the laptop n the hinges, it works perfectly
This is going to be a dumb question, but will this one allow you to put your palm on the screen while writing with the stylus? I bought a Dell 2-in-1 thinking that I could take notes on it but it doesn’t let me rest my hand on the screen like an iPad. I know some 2in1 laptops allows this but idk how to make sure they do or not. I hope that make sense lol

Hello, What are your thoughts on the Lenovo Flex 7i Intel Evo Platform 14"? I can't seem to find any review on this model and I'm wondering if it is worth moving up or just sticking with the 5i?
It’s been 2 months now that I have owned the i5 16” but the battery is so bad, I think it said 8 hours in the description but I never actually put into consideration how much I use it and will use for college. By the time I unplug it and open it for the first time in class it’s at 98, then ~60 by the time I get home
Not funny thing is that MacBook Air m1 the MacBook pro m1 and then everything before that was 720p so you're paying $1,000 for the shittiest camera also your pain 1600 and then more for 720p camera Wait a minute doesn't the MacBook Air still have a 720p camera but because the adjusted no they put in a app so you can use your phone's camera to make it a webcam so they never fixed the actual problem of it having a terrible camera $1,400 out laptop
Trying wayyy too hard to sound like you have more natural bass in your voice than you do. Try varying your ending note. It's less obvious that you are faking your tone that way.

ideapad, the fan on the hp is kinda loud imo. the battery is also better. a bro of the hp it feels more premium

so there's an option by which you can turn off touch while you're using the pen. You can find that in pen settings I think
i7 or ryzen 7 which is better for all purposes, (not gaming)

Really bad choice on your part picking the 16 inch version. That's a huge battery drain.
